Best for:
Start with how often you will wear it, since a navy cap goes with nearly everything while a yellow one pairs with a narrower set of outfits. Consider marks: pale and bright colours show sweat and dirt along the brim edge sooner than dark ones. Think about the embroidery contrast, as stitching reads more clearly against navy than against yellow. Finally, check the adjuster, because cotton has no stretch once the cap is on.
Navy works with denim, white shirts, grey knitwear and almost any coat. Yellow is best kept as the only strong colour in an otherwise neutral outfit, with white, grey or denim doing the rest.
