Start with the upper, since an open knit mesh lets air move through the shoe while a closed synthetic upper does not. Look at the midsole next: a cushioned midsole absorbs more impact on pavement than a flat foam insert. Consider the outsole too, because rubber grips better on smooth indoor floors than a plastic sole. Finally, measure your foot length rather than relying on your usual size, as EU sizing varies between makers.
Straight-leg jeans, joggers or leggings all suit the low-cut collar. Ankle socks keep the line clean, and a plain tee or hoodie finishes a casual outfit. In brighter colorways, keep the rest of the outfit neutral so the shoes lead.
