Splashis — splashis.com
Last updated: 12 September 2026
Splashis LLC ("Splashis," "we," "us," "our") operates splashis.com and everything on it — the content, tools, products and services (the "Services"). We are a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. Our store runs on Shopify.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who receives it, where it goes, and what you can do about it. If anything here conflicts with our Terms of Service, this policy wins on anything to do with your personal information.
The short version
- We collect what we need to take your order, ship it, support you, and — if you agree — market to you.
- Your name, address and phone number are sent to our fulfilment partners, most of whom are in China, because that is where your order ships from. We could not deliver your order otherwise.
- We do not sell your information for money. We do share it with advertising partners in ways that count as "sale" or "sharing" under some US state laws — and you can opt out at any time.
- Non-essential cookies only run if you accept them.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email support@splashis.com.

2. How We Collect It
- Directly from you — when you create an account, place an order, subscribe, or contact us.
- Automatically — from your device, through cookies and similar technologies, subject to your cookie choices.
- From partners — service providers who process information on our behalf, and advertising platforms that tell us how their campaigns performed.
3. Where Your Information Goes — Including China
We want to be direct about this, because it affects you and most stores bury it.
Splashis does not hold stock. Your order ships directly from our manufacturing and fulfilment partners, most of whom are based in China. To send you your parcel, we must give them your name, delivery address, phone number and the contents of your order. There is no way to ship to you without this.
These partners are contractually required to use your details only to fulfil and deliver your order, and not for any other purpose.
Your information may also be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from the United States, where Splashis LLC and Shopify are based, and other countries where our service providers operate.
For customers in the UK and European Economic Area: where we transfer your personal information outside the UK or EEA to a country the UK government or European Commission has not found to provide adequate protection — which includes both the United States and China — we rely on recognised safeguards, specifically the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You can request a copy of the safeguards we use by emailing us.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information with:
- Shopify, which hosts the Services and processes information about your use of them. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.
- Payment providers, to take payment and issue refunds.
- Fulfilment and shipping partners, including suppliers in China and international carriers, to get your order to you.
- Service providers who work on our behalf — email and marketing (Klaviyo), product reviews (Judge.me), order tracking (17TRACK), analytics, and customer support tooling.
- Advertising and analytics platforms, where those integrations are active, to measure and target advertising. This is the sharing described in section 5.
- Where you ask us to, or where you use a social login.
- Legal and business — to comply with the law, respond to valid legal requests, enforce our terms, protect our rights or those of our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
5. Selling and Sharing for Advertising
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, under California's CCPA/CPRA and similar laws in other US states, "sale" also covers disclosure for other valuable consideration, and "sharing" covers disclosure for cross-context behavioural advertising. Our use of advertising and analytics platforms may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under those definitions. We would rather tell you that than hide behind the word "money."
The categories involved are device and usage data, and order and browsing history. We do not sell or share contact details, payment information or account credentials for advertising, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
To opt out, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our site footer, or email support@splashis.com. We also honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal — if your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out automatically, with no need to contact us.
6. Cookies and Your Choices
We use cookies and similar technologies for three things: making the site work (essential), measuring how it is used (analytics), and advertising.
Essential cookies run always — the site cannot function without them, for example to keep items in your cart.
Analytics and advertising cookies only run if you accept them. If you are in the UK or EEA you will see a consent banner on your first visit, and nothing non-essential is set until you choose. You can change your mind at any time through the cookie preferences link in our footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Blocking essential cookies in your browser will stop parts of the store working, including checkout.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and payment card data is handled by PCI-compliant payment providers rather than by us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information to us through unsecured channels.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights. They are not absolute and do not apply in every circumstance.
- Access — get a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — have inaccurate information fixed.
- Deletion — have your information erased, subject to records we must keep by law.
- Portability — receive your information in a portable format, or have it sent to someone else.
- Opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising — see section 5.
- Manage communications — unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any marketing email. We will still send you messages about your orders and account.
- Non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
If you are in the UK or EEA, you additionally have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to ask us to restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time — withdrawing consent does not affect processing we carried out before you withdrew it.
To exercise any right, email support@splashis.com. We will respond within 30 days (or one month in the UK and EEA), and may need to verify your identity first. You may use an authorised agent, subject to verification.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed at children.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
- We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
- In the UK and EEA, the minimum age at which a child can consent to online services is between 13 and 16 depending on the country. We do not knowingly process the information of children below the applicable age in their country.
If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@splashis.com and we will delete it.
10. Our UK and EU Representatives
Because Splashis LLC is established outside the UK and European Economic Area but offers goods to people there, we have appointed representatives under Article 27 of the UK and EU GDPR. You may contact them on any matter relating to our processing of your personal information.
EU representative: [NAME, ADDRESS, EMAIL — TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE PUBLISHING]
UK representative: [NAME, ADDRESS, EMAIL — TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE PUBLISHING]
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal information, please contact us first — we would rather fix it directly.
You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office. In the EEA, you can find your national authority through the European Data Protection Board.
12. Third-Party Links
The Services may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their privacy or security practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before giving them any information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. If we make a material change, we will tell you more prominently.
14. Contact Us
For any question about this policy, or to exercise your rights, email support@splashis.com. We reply within one business day.
